One really interesting idea for unique baby shower invitations involves those ubiquitous one piece baby garments known as onesies. You might want to print an invitation on paper, use a diaper pin to attach it to the onesie and mail the entire package to your guests. Or, if you're handy with a silk screen, you could silk screen the invitation directly onto the onesie. Another idea would be to include a onesie in each invitation and ask the guest to bring the decorated onesie to the shower as a gift for mom – your guests will have fun seeing all of the different designs people come up with. If the weather is amenable, consider printing invitations to a “sweet shower” for the mom-to-be on a label you can wrap around a chocolate bar.
